The Sofa Hotel & Residence features its own Spa & Wellness Centre, Taylife, ideal for when you need to relax after a hard day's work or conferencing, or to get ready and pampered before a night out. Taylife is under the direction of renowned specialist Taylan Kumeli and offers a range of services and equipment including a fitness and cardio centre, traditional Turkish Hammam Baths, mental & spiritual practices such as yoga and stress management), massages, steam room and detox programs. Taylife also offers plenty to indulge yourself with beautician services and body treatments including hydrotherapy, Ayurveda, Thalassotherapy, Balneotherapy, body scrubs, wraps and masks.

The Sofa Hotel & Residence boasts 82 rooms, of which 12 are suites. 65 of those rooms are Executive rooms, with ample living space (40sqm), specially designed furniture, rain shower, 2 phone lines, air conditioning, broadband and TV internet access, Satellite LCD TV, CD and DVD player as well as personalized letterhead and notepads. All rooms are also feature the hotel's unique 'Anytime, Anything' button - that lets you contact members of staff and ensures you'll always have someone on call should you require anything, anytime.
The suites are split into 4 types: Junior, Senior, Executive and Honeymoon. There are 5 Junior and 5 Senior suites - all feature large living spaces (from 57 to 63sqm) as well as all the above amenities. Junior suites also boast a balcony and kitchenette, and Senior suites also boast a kitchenette, living room, bedroom and changing room. Tranquility rooms have exclusive Japanese Garden views.
The Executive suite offers more than enough space with 143sqm split into a living room, 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms (one with Jacuzzi) and a balcony while the Honeymoon suite is ideal for lovers who can share 163sqm of living space boasting a 2.5m round bed, 1 indoor and 1 outdoor jacuzzi and an outdoor steam bath.

One of Istanbul’s Best restaurants, TUUS is an innovative eatery that serves new Mediterranean cuisine, throughout the day in a comfortable setting. Open for lunch and dinner 6 days a week and closed on Sundays. TUUS is managed by the established Washington restaurant Leftbank.
Cafe Sofa is the more informal option and serves breakfast, lunch and dinner in a unique atmosphere. it also includes the "Patoka Bookstore" which boasts rare books, daily newspapers and magazines. The menu there incorporates healthy Mediterranean and vegetarian dishes and the Cafe Sofa is open until midnight and benefits from wireless internet access.

The Sofa Hotel is located in Nisantasi, Istanbul's fashionable shopping and gourmet centre. Istanbul has a lot to offer when it comes to sightseeing - the Haghia Sophia Dome, known as Aya Sofya is considered the world’s finest example of Byzantine architecture. Topkapi Palace, originally built as a summer residence and the seat of government, was home to a harem, state administration and military personnel in the 16th century.
The Sultanahmet Camii (Blue Mosque) is Islam' answer to Haghia Sophia, the symbol and centre of religious demonstrations. Blue Iznik tiles dominate the interior, and blue light shines through more than 250 windows. Yerebatan Sarayi (Basilica Cistern), sometimes referred to as the Sunken Palace, was the reservoir for water required for the Byzantine Great Palace. Galata Kulesi (Galata Tower) is another must see attraction with its top balcony offering an  unforgettable view of the city. Built in 1348 by the Genovese as part of their fortifications, this distinctive 62m (205ft) tower with conical roof is visible from most of the city.
For bargain hunters a visit to the towns' bazaars is a must - Kapali Carsisi (the covered or Grand Bazaar) is a famous and vast bazaar and the best known of Istanbul's markets. Misir Carsisi (Egyptian or spice market) is an L-shaped market, facing the Golden Horn, that was built in the 17th century and is famed for its exotic spices and oils from the Orient. Today it also sells dried fruits, caviar and Turkish delights, as well as a plethora of souvenirs. Its surrounding streets are a hub of commercial activity, with local craftspeople, traders and a great selection of cheeses and olives.
